I grew up on a farm in central Alberta. After high school I moved to Banff, one of Canada's best known tourist destinations, for work in between going to school - and ended up staying for twelve years. I worked for a number of tourist businesses and also at the well known Banff Centre School of Fine Arts.

I left Banff to return to the Edmonton area for about a year, during which time my father passed away. From there I moved back to southern Alberta where I worked for a summer at Kings Fold, an interdenominational retreat centre in the gorgeous foothills of the Canadian Rockies. A move to Cochrane, just northwest of Calgary, came next. That's where I began my first home business doing arts and crafts. A couple of years later I met and married Roy and worked with him in his business.

In the mid nineties, we sold that business and moved to a community southwest of Edmonton where we had already started a mini-storage business.

From there we moved to Leduc for four years and that's where I began to learn about computers and websites.

We moved back to Cochrane in the summer of 2005. Not long after we discovered Cowboy Trail Church, where we have met loads of wonderful people. I do their website. Roy keeps busy working on real estate deals and I am presently working part-time as an Administrative Assistant to the Associate Executive Director for the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists.
