Cowboy Valley Church was started September 21,2006 by two families, Blair and Brenda Bates and Rod and Judy Sheppard.

Blair and Brenda Bates have worked both in full-time and lay ministry with the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada for more then 20 years. Blair has been part of the worship ministry for more then 16 years now and has also developed a worship ministry CD entitled “RESTORE” which was release beginning of 2006. This all original music is part of the journey that both Blair and Brenda have been on with their walk with Jesus. Presently they are working and living in Peachland BC along with their three kids, Josiah (18), Caleb (16) our team roper of the family, and Jessie (13) our barrel racer.

Rod and Judy Sheppard who reside in Peachland along with their three children, Janelle (16), Dylan (15) and Levi (11) have worked in church ministry in various areas of the valley as lay leaders. Both Rod and Judy have a wealth of knowledge of the horse community and bring country welcome warmth to anyone how gets to know them. Both families share in the desire to live the cowboy way of life with the passion to share the message of hope to the cowboys everywhere.

Presently we are meeting at the Peachland Riding Club every second Thursday starting September 21 of 2006.
