Cowboy Valley Church was started September 21,2006 by two families, Blair and Brenda Bates and Rod and Judy Sheppard.

Pastor Blair and Brenda Bates have been serving as Pastors for over 20 years. Their journey started together in Regina Saskatchewan where they met in 1985. Blair served as youth and worship Pastor in Cloverdale BC, ministered in Edmonton Alberta and eventually settled in Peachland BC as worship pastor of Peachland Community Church. The Cowboy church ministry started in the cowboy community in Peachland and from there the opportunities have continued to come for the advancement of Jesus’ message of hope, love and salvation. CVC has served the Peachland Riding Club, for the last three years, meeting twice a month, little Britches and high school rodeo church services held in Peachland. The Bates family continues to live in the heart of the Okanagan valley with their children, Josiah, Caleb and Jessie.

Rod and Judy Sheppard who reside in Peachland along with their three children, Janelle, Dylan and Levi have worked in church ministry in various areas of the valley in church leadership. Both Rod and Judy have a wealth of knowledge of the horse community and bring country welcome warmth to anyone how gets to know them. Both families share in the desire to live the cowboy way of life with the passion to share the message of hope to the cowboys everywhere.

Presently we are meeting at the Peachland Riding Club every second Thursday.
